Hi Everyone BML founder here. I need to let everyone know of an incident that has arisen that affects everyone here. The pseudonym "Detheditor" has posted a threatening comment with demands that I step down as founder of the BML, giving control of the BML to Rahiden or him and his horde of accounts he's made or is making will spam everyone associated to the BML.
I've spoken with the other admins(all but Aiden) and we're pretty much all in agreement that "We don't negotiate with terrorists." So this means that Deth, his few friends(if you could even call em that) will launch an attack on the BML and its members. As you can see by the comment left on the main page and the bit of dialog he had with Shorjok that the intention is to set demands and then be able to blame me for you all being spammed when I fail to comply with them. As per usual, his attempts are misguided and half baked(the kind of thing I'd expect from a 15 year old kid with no life and no real friends). Members of the BML aren't forced to stick around. If you chose to leave the BML I can speak on behalf of the other admins when I say that we understand your reasons for leaving. The choice to go or stay is yours.
However We sincerely hope you stay and together we show these bullies that we aren't a community that is divided and won't stand for their harassment tactics over pathetically petty reasons. We should be resilient, and not let these trolls get to us. After all, that's what they want. Don't allow Deth to use the BML as a reason to spam you. If your account gets spammed, its solely his and his friends fault, not mine or the BML's. Deth simply wants to attack people indiscriminately and is trying to use my group as a catalyst to do it. We hope you understand the situation and why it is we can't give in to these demands. This may not be the easy way, but its surely the right way. We at the BML hope you agree.
My advice to supporters If you chose to stick around or even if you simply find yourself being attacked by these accounts my suggestion is to block them ASAP, monitor your message board closely and frequently and focus on blocking accounts. Then worry about flagging the messages as spam and removing the messages from your pages or deviations.
