good bye old friend.
Someday I’d like to join this group since I’ve just gotten back into the nick of things with bionicle, I’m thinking of making some “revamps” based on some artwork I’ve seen so I might post some stuff around here

I have a couple of questions:

1. Are you allowed to join if your moc is “good” but the quality of the photo is crap, is it a one or the other situation or do you need both to enter?

2. If ya *sorta* copy someone else’s design but kinda modify it to your own tastes and capability would ya get booted from the group? Do we credit eachother or something rather?

3. I’m actually struggling a fair bit to get the anatomy, structure and aesthetics, am I allowed to ask for assistance and advice? And how much help can I request for before it starts to get annoying H E C C

Anyways, I’m looking forward to posting some bionicle stuff sometime in the near future, thanks for your time
1. The group has no requirements for members, however we do hold a strict standard on what is submitted to our gallery.

To quote rule 5:
"5. All submissions must be of high quality; both the build as well as photography will be evaluated by the admins:
-The build should be more advanced, visually and/or technically, than official LEGO sets.

-The photos should be well lit and have a monochrome background. (Excluding photoshop or Mocs Mocing Mocishly submissions.)

-Revamps will be held to a higher standard; they should redefine the set, not just add to them."

2. There's nothing wrong with copying other designs and modifying them for your mocs. Depending on how blatantly the design has been copied, it would be recommendable good manners to credit the builder you got the design from. It gives no grounds to kick a member however, unless they were straight up posting other people's mocs and claiming them as their own.

3. You're free to ask advice anytime, but do consider that we're a bunch of individuals giving away our free time for the group. Answers may be slow at times if we're busy.

Also, whenever we decline a submission to our gallery, we aim to leave feedback on how to improve the submission to an acceptable level.
That sounds great! I’m looking forward to posting some of my MOCs fairly soon
Indeed, we are Usuially a friendly bunch of people in the group and will Usuially give advice when asked, myself included
